Performance Starts With You

Published 09.12.2025

We write a lot about how we find performance in our products. But it is important to remember, the biggest performance factor is you, the rider.

When we talk about performance that we want to improve, it's not about building a lighter, stiffer, or more aerodynamic bike. What we want is a bike that gives you the best experience: one that makes you faster, less tired, and more confident when tackling technically demanding sections. In short, our bike should help you perform at your best.

Improve Yourself

Before we even talk about equipment, it's worth mentioning that investing in yourself will often improve your performance more than investing in your gear. This can take many forms: bike fitting, training plan, strength training, riding technique training, nutrition plan, training camps, and much more, but in any case, spend a lot of time on your bike!

Know Yourself

To perform at your best, you need to know yourself really well. How do I achieve my best fit on the bike? What are my strengths and weaknesses? Where are my limits? Where do I ride? The more you learn about yourself, the better you can adapt yourself and your equipment accordingly. The right decision for you is not necessarily the same as for someone else who has different physical conditions or goals.

Choose Equipment That Supports You

When it comes to equipment improvements, we often talk about power savings at a given speed. At the same time, however, we should also consider whether our equipment allows us to perform at our best. If you no longer feel comfortable on your bike halfway through the ride, all the watts you save won't help you.

The Biggest Performance Advantage: Our Business Model

For the perfect interaction between man and machine, it must be perfectly suited to you and your rides. This ranges from basics such as adjusting the contact points to more subtle measures such as the right choice of tires, gear ratio, and wheels. For this reason, we are convinced that our greatest performance advantage lies not in our products but in our business model: bikes, individually built after consultation with our dealers.
